Open Days 2023

Fancy a go at lawn bowls? Come along to our free Open Days, it's open to everyone no matter your ability, just bring yourself and we will do the rest...

Have you always fancied trying your hand at bowls, or passed the club and wondered what it's all about? Well this year we are hosting not one but two open days at Broadstone where you can come and give it a go! No experience is needed, just bring yourself and anyone else who might fancy a try and come along to either of our open days. All equipment is supplied and we have qualified coaches on hand to help show you the ropes. All ages and abilites are welcome, bowls really is a fantastic sport for all. After your roll up please feel free to join us for a coffee or tea and take a well earned break in our lovely grounds.

Our open days are:

Sunday 14th May  - 10am till 2pm

Sunday 28th May  - 10am till 2pm

Can't make it? No problem

If you are interested but can't make that date, don't worry. Just contact the club secretary Andy Williams by email - bwbc21@yahoo.com and she can help arrange a time and date that is better suited to you to come and have a go.

You can always pop into the club at any time and ask to speak to the duty Steward who can also help provide information on how to go about getting and introduction.

Where are we?

The club is located on the corner of Dunyeats Road and Laurel Drive in Broadstone. Access is from Dunyeats Road, the same entrance as to the park. There is plenty of free parking next to the club, with overflow available in the adjacent Scouts Hall car park, all of which is suitable for disabled access.
