The Ladies Section plays in a number of Leagues throughout Dorset and Hampshire and is actively involved in the following

leagues each outdoor season.

Bournemouth & District League
These matches are played on Thursday afternoon and consist of Rinks and Triples leagues. We have an entry in both of these leagues.  

We play in the Mixed Tuesday evening league and also the mixed Saturday morning league, having 2 teams in each of these. Ladies may also play in the Men's section on Saturday afternoons if there are insufficient men available.

Bowls Dorset League
These matches are played on Tuesday afternoon’s.  We have 1 team (2 rinks) in this league.

Edna Paisley League
This triples league, played in Dorset, consists of one east and one west division and is open to players over the age of 60. The league teams are made up of 2 rinks and only one first team player is allowed to play in each team. We have 1 team in the East Division. The winners of the East and West divisions play a final, towards the end of the season.

General
We enter Bournemouth & District and Bowls Dorset Competitions and run a number of internal club competitions.

On a Friday evening we play in a mixed triples league and also play in mixed and ladies friendly fixtures.

Our Ladies Section is always on the lookout for new members so why not come along and try our game and for potential new members who need an introduction to the game we can provide “In House” coaching.
